ISI Jitter Injector: LLE Series
ISI Jitter Injector, LLE Series, is an emulation module for transmission lines, such as the FR-4 PCB Line, and cables for USB, HDMI, DisplayPort, SATA, etc . The data stream going through a transmission line always generates an ISI (Inter Symbol Interference), which distorts the data itself. The longer the line length, the more the ISI, which results in a transmission bit error.
In the R&D and production environments for high speed serial data transmission devices and equipment, ISI jitter stress test is mandatory with long line lengths. However, the quantitative analysis is not easy with a long cable because its characteristics vary with its positioning and bending. Moreover, it takes a certain space.
The compact and affordable LLE module perfectly emulates line characteristics from 6 inches to 30 feet, and enables quantitative ISI jitter stress testing. thus removing limitations due to variations of cables and their positioning.
